NestHouse™ Moveable Modular Micro House System by Tiny House Scotland.

I can hand over your NestHouse™ as a Shell Build ready for you to decorate and add the plumbing, kitchen, bathroom and furniture or alternatively you can have a Complete Build - it's all down to your choice or budget - shell build will typically be around 15-20% less than the cost of a complete build and will take around 4 to 5 months to build. NB. VAT rates vary depending on construction, size and end use.

Shell Build = a finished building envelope including electrical wiring/sockets etc. but undecorated internally and without furniture or plumbing.
NB.important to understand - the shell is complete from inner surface to outer cladding including membranes and insulation
it is vital that this is a fully contiguous unit to ensure correct structural and thermal performance...I will not supply in any other form!

The photos below show the prototype at this stage with internal partition walls and loft floor and all electrics in place for the intended final layout.

Green Workshop Principles at Tiny House Scotland

Offcuts of timber, panels and insulation from each build is carefully minimised then stored for reuse or recycled.

Tiny House Scotland in a Nutshell:

Tiny House Scotland was founded in 2014 by Jonathan Avery. I design and build my unique NestPod™ and NestHouse™ tiny houses to commission.

As a master craftsman of over 35 years, I build everything from scratch myself, I only produce 2-3 projects a year; there is often a waiting list.

My tiny homes are typically £50k - £85k ex-works depending on specification etc.

Every NestPod™ and NestHouse™ is highly insulated; they are built as ‘Proper Houses’ - fully functional architecture for full-time living.

My houses bear no comparison to glamping cabins, mobile homes, sheds on wheels or shepherd huts or anything else you will find in the UK!
